이승욱 교수 연구진은 최근 한반도 경계 또는 접경지역을 중심으로 다양한 정치, 경제, 생태적 비전, 이해 그리고 상상력이 충돌하고 경합하는 양상에 주목하고자 한다. 이를 통해 한반도와 그 너머의 인간과 비인간에게 있어 한반도 경계가 가지는 지정학적 가능성과 리스크에 대해 고찰하는 계기를 가지고자 한다. 

Prof. Seung-Ook Lee aims to explore how the border on the Korean Peninsula has recently served as a site where a variety of political, economic, and ecological visions, interests, and imaginations compete and contest.  This work helps us explore geopolitical possibilities and risks of the inter-Korean border for both human and non-humans on and beyond the Korean Peninsula.
