The Anthropocene defines the Earth’s most recent geological epoch
to reflect that human activities have made a profound impact on the planet.
RESEARCH GROUPS
With the slogan “Human and Earth in the Anthropocene,”
we aim to provoke a paradigm shift in academic research, public policy, and artistic creation.

Sensing
Attempts to comprehend the state of the “damaged planet” by observing global environemental changes in the Anthropocene.

Inhabiting
Analyzes the changing forms of human life in the Anthropocene and seeks for technological and political solutions.

Imagining
Absorbs the research findings from the other groups and, in turn, inspires them for further inquiry.
